The Independent Inquiry into Mental Health Services in Tayside published its Final Report – “Trust and Respect” on 5th February 2020.

The Independent Inquiry was commissioned by NHS Tayside in 2018 to examine the accessibility, safety, quality and standards of care provided by all mental health services in Tayside.

The report identified five cross-cutting themes which needed to be addressed to improve mental health services in Tayside and included 51 recommendations to enable service improvement.
